Who is it suitable for?

The Magical Santa Experience is suitable for children of all ages, with a range of experiences, activities and entertainment to enjoy.

Can I just turn up on the day?

Tickets must be pre-purchased on advance and on the day tickets will not be available. To ensure the best experience, this is a timed event with limited availability each day; so early booking is advised.

Can I change/Cancel my booking?

Bookings are non-refundable and non-changeable.

What is Included?

The experience is anticipated to last around 2 hours 30 minutes and you will move through six zones – each with their own experience, activity or entertainment.

Arrival Tent: Upon arrival you’ll be greeted by one of Santa’s Elves and enjoy a welcome hot chocolate before the little ones will be able to decorate their visitor pass and write their list for Santa.

Magic Tipi: Enter the entertainment tent where a playful elf will amaze you with magical tricks and enchanting performances.

Storytelling Camp: Settle in for a captivating story time session with one of Santa’s elves, filled with festive tales and holiday cheer.

Crafting Hideaway: Move on to the workshop where the children can engage in a variety of festive-themed crafting and decorating activities.

Santa’s Lodge: Finally, meet the big man himself in Santa’s cozy grotto. Check if you are on the “Good” or “Naughty” list and enjoy a family photo opportunity and receive a special gift from Father Christmas.

Festive Feast Haven: Conclude your visit in the food tent, where adults receive a FREE glass of mulled wine. Additional food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Is there parking?

Free parking is available for 3 hours, which will be sufficient time for you to experience the event. If you should require extra time, please speak to one of Santa’s Elves in the Festive Feast Haven.

How many people are in each session?

There will be a maximum of 15 children per session

Can I add people onto my existing booking?

You may add additional people to your booking only if there is availability for your chosen time slot. Please contact santa@highertrapp.co.uk for help.

How long does the experience last?

You should expect the experience to last for 2 hours 30 mins.

Are refreshments provided on the day?

All visitors will receive a complimentary hot chocolate on arrival, and the adults will also receive a complimentary glass of mulled wine in the Festive Feast Haven. Towards the end of your experience there will be an opportunity to purchase a range of drinks, snacks and light meals in the Festive Feast Haven.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

You will not be able to bring your own food and drink to this event.

What time do I need to arrive?

Please arrive 10 – 15 minutes prior to your session starting to allow time for parking and walking to the start of the experience. (about 50 meters walk from the car park)

What happens if I am late?

This is a timed and ticketed event, with limited capacity for each session. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late we may not be able to reschedule your tickets.

What do I need to wear?

This is primarily an outdoor event and therefore you should dress appropriately for typically winter weather. However. each of the experiences will be hosted inside a heated tipi tent or grotto.

Can I take photos and videos?

Yes, photos and videos are permitted throughout the event.

Is it pram friendly?

Yes, the experience has been designed to be wheelchair and pram friendly. However, there will limited space in each activity, so we recommend if possible that prams and pushchairs are not brought into the event.

Is it fully accessible?

Yes, call aspects of the event are accessible.

Do we see Father Christmas on our own?

The visit to see Father Christmas will be part of a small group; but all children will get the chance to ‘meet’  and speak to him personally and have a photograph taken.

What is the maximum per booking?

The maximum number of children per booking is 15.

Can I bring my dogs?

No dogs will be permitted into the event.

Is there toilets/baby changing facilities?

Yes, there will be toilets and baby changing facilities available on arrival and also at the end of the experience.

Can I pay cash onsite?

Yes, there will be a range of food, drink and gifts which can be purchased using cash or credit/debit cards.
